Elizabeth is doing good this morning, sleeping. They have her down from 2 liters of oxygen yesterday to .8 today. We got to hold her for a little while last night but she was very fussy. She tries to cry but since the ventilator was in so long her throat is raw and it makes her "voice" very hoarse so all she does is squeak. She has been smiling ALOT. Still waiting for the swallow study to be scheduled so they can see if she is able to take a bottle, but that should be later today or tomorrow. Once she is off the pain meds and able to take a bottle she will be able to go home.
